HEY FRIENDS ITS ONLY 2 WEEKS TO THE TRIP AND ARE YOU GUYS EXCITED??

Ok, so for the Hong Kong trip we most likely will be singing these few songs:
-Virita Criosa
-Ant's summer
-Salve Regina
-Joiku
-Paru Parong Bukid
-Da Hai A
-Why We Sing

And that's a whole lot of songs so we better buck up now o.o
The sec ones in particular, have much much more to learn!

Ok for virita criosa:

Note the tempo change btw sections and follow Mrs Lim closely
Get the split notes right (Singing in thirds)
Dynamics!!
Articulation (BBBBBBroli TTTTaRRRRa)
Use your support for the high notes (Mostly at the end) And take in one good breath before singing.
Use our melody lines to seduce the other sections hahaha as quoted by Mrs Lim. THE ABSOLUTE WRONG WORD TO USE THOUGH.

Ant's Summer:

Great Improvement! (I must say..)
Rest Rest Rest (For the last time..)
We are constantly unstable, going sharp, flat and back to sharp is totally unacceptable.
We always go flat at somewhere near bar 27 (Do ko do ko do ko Dooooooo--)So think up.
And then we go sharp at "Ma Shi Gu Ra De A Ru"So think down.
Its alot of work but no can do guys (Including myself of course :) )
"Mat Su Ba Bo Ta Uno Mit Su Ri n Wo" The constant C-E-C-E-C thing, Accent on MA, MIT and N to bring out the off-beatness of the phrase
Be bold to sing the last 2 notes Ku Mo!

Salve Regina

Rest for goodness sake!
Follow Mrs Lim cuz the beat wierdly changes from 3/4 to 2/4 and to 4/4
Use the support for the high notes at the end
Listen to other sections and make it like some kinda conversation.

For the benefit of the Sec Ones I'll be uploading the videos of the above Songs so please go learn them! My apologies if you hear wierd noises in the videos *Shrugs*

There's practice tomorrow 10 June:
09 00-11 30 Sectionals
01 15- 4.30 Combined
And we'll have a super long lunch break YAY!

So meet at Giga Jam at 08 45 (To chop the place B4 other sections come *typical Singaporean*)
